02A good first message

A few lines are enough to get started

You don’t need a formal brief. Tell us what you have, what worries you and whether there is a deadline.

What you run

For example Oracle 19c on two Linux servers, a website on a VPS, office PCs and a NAS.

What is not working

Slow queries, a failed backup, a suspicious email, a device you do not trust. Or simply what worries you.

Any deadline

An audit, a migration date, a contract renewal or a launch. It helps us plan around it.

Something urgent? Start your message with “Urgent”, say what is happening and add a phone number. We will tell you honestly whether and how quickly we can help.

03After you write

What happens after you hit send

A straightforward conversation with the people who will do the work.

  1. We read your message

A person on the team reads it and checks whether we are the right fit for what you need.

    staff@etheresoftware.com
  2. We reply by email

With questions, an initial assessment or a proposal for a short call. If we are not the right fit, we say so.

    English or Italian
  3. A first conversation

A call or video meeting to understand your systems, your constraints and what must never stop.

    Call or video
  4. A written proposal

Scope, steps, risks and what we need from you, in writing. Nothing starts until you approve it.

04Questions

Before you write to us

Still unsure? Write anyway. A short message is enough to get started.

Do you work with companies outside New York?

Yes. Ethere Inc. is headquartered in New York and works with companies across the United States and in Italy. Much of our work can be done remotely, over secure connections.

Can I write in Italian?

Yes. Write in English or Italian. We reply in the same language, and reports and documentation can be in either one.

Will you sign an NDA before we share details?

Of course. You can start by describing the problem in general terms. Before you share anything sensitive, we can sign a non-disclosure agreement.

Something is broken right now. What should I do?

Use the form or email us, start with “Urgent” and add a phone number. Say what is happening and since when. We will tell you honestly whether and how quickly we can help.

What happens to the details I send?

We use them only to reply to you and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal. We do not sell or share them and we do not add you to any newsletter. The privacy policy has all the details.
